But we saved everything 🙂.
Charter Communications partnered with officials in Wayne County, New York, to bring reliable, high-speed broadband to Sodus Bay.
After years of creative planning, ferrying equipment on barges and installing fiber lines up to 50 feet below the bay, 1,200 homes and businesses are now connected. The company said these locations can say goodbye to previous connectivity challenges.

CHTR is trading at $140.29, positioned above both its SMA-20 ($132.85) and SMA-50 ($136.19), but well below the SMA-200 ($193.46), signaling a short-term bullish bias but a sustained long-term downtrend. The Ichimoku Kijun at $139.93 sits just above the current price, marking immediate resistance, while near-term support appears at SMA-50 ($136.19) and SMA-20 ($132.85), with key support at SMA-100 ($169.38); resistance levels are marked by the Kijun ($139.93) and more distant SMA-200 ($193.46).
MACD on D1 is signaling strong sell momentum, while ADX shows low trend strength at 14.19, indicating little directional commitment. D1 oscillators—RSI at 60.8, Stoch RSI at 100, and CCI at 165.33—all highlight overbought conditions, reinforcing the risk of a near-term pullback. BBP on D1 is overbought at 13.45, suggesting buyers have dominated, but with some signals diverging—momentum is weakening as oscillators remain stretched. CHTR has climbed $16.98 (14.12%) over the past week, rising from $123.31, and is currently sitting at the very top of the weekly range, with weekly volatility standing at 31.42%. The tone is one of aggressive recovery from the 52-week low, but the rapid ascent and overbought technical readings warrant caution. In today's session, CHTR is under pressure, declining 3.38% from the previous close after recent highs.
For the coming week, a realistic forecast range is expected between $135 and $150, placing the stock just above its recent lows but still far below the 52-week high of $285.82. Using W1 signals (all bearish for MA-50, MA-100, MA-200, RSI and MACD), there is a very low probability (less than 20%) of further upside, with a much higher likelihood of a short-term pullback or sideways consolidation. The baseline scenario sees CHTR holding between support at $136 and resistance at $150 as buying and profit-taking pressures balance. In a bullish scenario, a decisive break above the $150 resistance could target higher, but follow-through is unlikely given the overbought setup and weak long-term trend. Bearish resolution would come if the price breaks under $135, opening a move back toward recent lows, but still above the 52-week trough.
Earlier, analysts noted that Charter Communications was struggling to achieve sustained momentum amid a broadly bearish technical backdrop and cautious outlook. As market conditions evolve, investors should monitor for decisive shifts in trend, as a clear move in either direction could signal the next significant phase for the stock.
