Dragonfly Energy has completed the acquisition of the Dakota Lithium brand and operating assets in a move designed to broaden its market reach.

With this acquisition, Dragonfly Energy intends to strengthen its position across the marine, outdoor recreation, powersports, golf cart, and other specialty battery market segments. The transaction signals the company’s strategy to grow its product offerings and tap into additional customer bases through established industry brands. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Dragonfly Energy recently appointed Robert Keller as director of national fleet sales, adding nearly four decades of fleet industry experience to its leadership team through the Keller appointment.
