Ledger unveils clear signing for Perps

Ledger has introduced 100 percent clear signing for perpetual swap (Perps) trading within Ledger Wallet, reducing reliance on fragile browser extensions and minimizing the risk associated with blind signing of crypto transactions.

Paired with the Ledger signer, traders can now long or short Perps through Yield XYZ directly in Ledger Wallet, enhancing security and transparency in the crypto trading process. The company stresses that its clear signing feature is designed to protect digital assets by eliminating unnecessary risks in day-to-day trading activity.

Ledger recently launched stablecoin yield within its wallet, integrating Morpho, Aave and Compound to offer user rewards on digital assets, according to a prior report (link). The company has also updated its protocol to give users fee previews and explicit approval before finalizing crypto operations (link). These product updates emphasize Ledger's focus on user control and transaction security.
