CrowdStrike said the second quarter of fiscal 2027 was the best in its history. Ending annual recurring revenue reached 5.84 billion dollars, accelerating to over 25 percent year over year.

Split daily structure as price gaps up but stalls below MA-50

CrowdStrike stock opened the session with a gap up from $185.38 to $191.62, but then retraced part of that advance. The price remains below both the MA-20 and MA-50, despite being above the MA-200, creating a split daily structure. Stoch RSI is holding in oversold territory, limiting further downside for now. The nearest resistance on the chart is the MA-50 at $193.47, which may contain advances until surpassed.

A near even split as traders watch the MA-50 close

To determine whether the revenue-related move is being embraced by the market, traders will be watching for a close above the $193.47 MA-50. Shares initially surged with a large gap higher but have since given back some gains after rising from $185.38 to $191.62 at the open. Over the next five trading days, there is a 52% chance of upside and a 48% chance of downside, with an expected trading range from $181.48 to $197.93. While the past week has seen a sustained move lower with a firm trend, the probabilities going forward are nearly balanced. A close above $193.47 would indicate buyers are following through on the move, while a drop below $182.35 would show rejection; the weekly chart remains constructive for the longer term.

Earlier, analysts noted that CrowdStrike was exhibiting short- and medium-term technical weakness, with downside risks persisting despite support on longer timeframes. The latest robust earnings and initial price gap higher introduce potential for a technical shift, making a sustained close above the $193.47 MA-50 a key level to watch for signs of renewed upside momentum.
