Steep decline in math scores sparks call for improved IT support, Jamf urges
Math scores hit 15-year low

Math scores have recorded their most significant decline in 15 years, heightening concern over student performance in numeracy.

According to Jamf, information technology teams can play a pivotal role in strengthening numeracy programs by ensuring reliable access to devices, essential applications, and by safeguarding data privacy in schools. The company is promoting a new guide designed to help educational institutions address these challenges and support effective digital learning environments.

Jamf recently introduced the Braindate tool at JNUC to support peer knowledge sharing among event attendees, aiming to strengthen educational connections at the conference. The company’s CEO, Beth Tschida, has also outlined efforts to help IT administrators confidently implement AI following swift policy changes within schools. These initiatives add to Jamf’s ongoing focus on enabling technology-driven learning environments.
