OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 Astra

OpenAI has launched GPT-6 Astra, making it available to all Pro, Enterprise, and Business Premium users within ChatGPT Work and Codex, as well as in the API.

The release will be gradually extended to Plus and Business users in the coming days. OpenAI thanked its user base for their patience during the staged rollout.

OpenAI recently completed a $7 billion share sale at an $852 billion valuation as expectations for an initial public offering grow. The company’s annualized revenue has surpassed $40 billion, reflecting rapid expansion in its core business. The latest software release comes as OpenAI maintains strong momentum in the lead-up to a potential IPO.
