Namibia deploys Plug Power GenEco PEM electrolyzer in first African hydrogen hub
Plug Power delivers electrolyzer to Namibia

Plug Power announced that its 5MW GenEco PEM electrolyzer is now in use at Namibia's newly commissioned green hydrogen hub, the first of its kind in Africa.

The company stated that there are long-term plans to expand the electrolyzer facility to 250MW and eventually 500MW, indicating significant growth potential for large-scale green hydrogen production in the region.
