Silvaco Group signs MoU with India for Semiconductor Future Accelerator Lab
Silvaco Group inks India R&D pact

Silvaco Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with India's Ministry for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, establishing the Semiconductor Future Accelerator Lab (SFAL).

Silvaco CEO Dr. Wally Rhines joined Indian Minister Shri M.B. Patil to formalize the new partnership, supporting advancements in semiconductor research and development between the company and Indian governmental bodies.

Silvaco Group has recently expanded its semiconductor offerings, launching a MIPI PHY IP for GlobalFoundries 22FDX Plus and 12LP Plus at a tech summit. Earlier this year, the company entered a partnership with Dassault Systèmes to support advanced manufacturing using digital twin workflows in semiconductor processes. These initiatives reflect Silvaco’s ongoing focus on research partnerships and technology development.
