Jamf adds BYOK in Frankfurt

Jamf has introduced Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) functionality for customers hosting Jamf Pro in Frankfurt. This new offering allows users to manage their own encryption keys through providers such as Thales, Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure Key Management Service.

With this enhancement, Jamf customers gain greater control over data access and compliance, empowering them to set policies on who can read their data. The update aims to strengthen data protection and address regulatory requirements relevant to cloud and GDPR-focused organizations.

Jamf recently became a Visionary Sponsor of the Mac Admins Foundation Grant Program to help administrators attend global conferences, according to a previous announcement. At its recent JNUC keynote, CEO Beth Tschida also introduced an AI diagnostic assistant and upgraded core APIs for customers, as reported earlier this year. These initiatives reflect Jamf’s continued investments in security, automation, and community engagement.
