Butterfly Network introduces Compass AI with AutoOrder to streamline POCUS study workflows
Butterfly Network launches Compass AI feature

Butterfly Network has announced the rollout of Compass AI with AutoOrder, a feature that enables in-progress, unreported, and unassigned point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) studies to surface directly within the workflows that medical teams already use.

The update is designed to improve efficiency for clinical teams by helping ensure that relevant studies are easily accessible and managed within existing operational systems.

Butterfly Network previously launched Compass AI as a platform aimed at simplifying POCUS workflow and device management for healthcare providers, according to a recent announcement. The company has also partnered with Bridge Neurotech to support research and development on non-surgical brain-computer interfaces using its ultrasound technology, as detailed in a prior agreement. These initiatives reflect the company's continuing expansion into clinical and research applications of ultrasound.
