ChargePoint partnership with Santa Monica Big Blue Bus advances fleet electrification — ChargePoint aids Santa Monica fleet

ChargePoint announced its involvement in Santa Monica Big Blue Bus's journey to electrify its vehicle fleet. The city transit agency partnered with ChargePoint and Eaton to deploy new charging infrastructure as it transitions to electric vehicles.

The collaboration highlights the role of specialized charging solutions in supporting public-sector transportation electrification efforts. Santa Monica Big Blue Bus began with a pilot project involving Gillig's electric buses and has since scaled its electric operations with support from ChargePoint.

ChargePoint previously teamed with Santa Monica Big Blue Bus on a major effort to electrify the transit agency’s fleet, expanding U.S. fleet electrification initiatives.
