Green Plains launches Farm Forward program

Green Plains has introduced Farm Forward, a program designed to connect qualifying farming practices with new premium opportunities. Farmers who participate could receive premiums of up to 0.25 dollars per eligible bushel.

The initiative aims to provide more value per bushel while encouraging sustainable farming methods. This move positions Green Plains to work more closely with its farmer partners and respond to increasing demand for traceability and environmental stewardship in crop production.

Green Plains has achieved operational milestones in recent years. The company’s Superior, Iowa facility surpassed one billion gallons of ethanol produced, as reported in a previous article. This production milestone reflects Green Plains’ ongoing investment in biofuel infrastructure.
