Caledonia Mining K-Pits milestone

Caledonia Mining has received the Environmental Impact Assessment certificate for its K-Pits project, enabling the company to proceed with the development of this new surface mining opportunity at Blanket Mine.

This regulatory milestone marks a significant step forward in Caledonia Mining's expansion efforts, as the company advances operations at its established mining site.

Earlier this year, Caledonia Mining announced a maiden oxide resource at Blanket Mine and reported heap leach test recoveries of up to 67 percent, according to company disclosures. The miner also outlined its multi-asset strategy and provided project updates during its 2026 Capital Markets Day in New York, as detailed in previous presentations. These developments follow a period of ongoing exploration and resource expansion at the site.
