Caledonia Mining has confirmed a maiden oxide resource at its Blanket Mine, with 30,000 ounces indicated and 14,000 ounces inferred from recent surface drilling.

The company said heap leach test work from the K-Pits oxide test pad has shown encouraging recoveries of up to 67 percent. More updates are expected as the testing programme progresses.

Caledonia Mining has recently detailed its multi-asset strategy and reported on exploration progress at its 2026 Capital Markets Day in New York. Earlier this year, CEO Mark Learmonth was scheduled to take part in a panel on building an investment-ready mining ecosystem in Zimbabwe at an industry event. The company continues to focus on expanding its resource base and operational footprint.
