The latest changes suggest the company is trying to make Alexa a more central interface for routine retail and account-management tasks.Amazon says the number of people using its agentic features has grown eightfold since the start of the year. Over the past 12 months, more than 400 million consumers have also used Alexa for shopping, indicating broad uptake as the company expands AI features across its consumer business.
