Collaboration plan follows Makati launch event
As reported by BusinessWorld Online, citing Evolution, the companies are looking to deepen their work in the Philippine market through new gaming offerings and promotional campaigns after an invitation-only event in Makati City on Oct. 30.At the event, Casino Plus players received a preview of Evolution's new live casino game show, Game Night, ahead of its commercial release. The Makati gathering marks Evolution's first offline collaboration with a Philippine gaming operator, according to Casino Plus. Evolution Asia Chief Executive Officer Gionata La Torre says the group aims to keep building its relationship with Casino Plus and create experiences tailored to Filipino players.
Philippines remains key Asian growth market
The planned initiatives add to Evolution's longer-term push in the Philippines, which La Torre describes as a key part of the company's growth in Asia. The supplier opened a live casino studio in Cebu in 2025, its first such facility in Asia.Casino Plus, a Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.-licensed online gaming operator, started offering Evolution's slot games in November 2021 and expanded into the supplier's live casino portfolio in May 2023. Casino Plus Chief Executive Officer Evan Spytma says the Game Night event is meant to be the first step in a broader collaboration rather than a one-off milestone.
The companies do not provide additional details on investment commitments, commercial terms, or the timing of future joint projects. Evolution, which is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, supplies online casino games and operates 27 studios across six continents, including the Cebu facility.
Our earlier report on the Philippines’ planned sovereign bond reforms examined how a new pricing convention and expected index inclusion could broaden the investor base and improve liquidity in peso government debt. It also noted that cheaper funding and deeper capital markets are not automatic, and that sustained gains depend on fiscal credibility, stronger market infrastructure, and wider structural reforms that translate financial modernization into real investment and productivity growth.
