Portfolio expansion at CXO Tech Summit

As reported by BusinessWorld Online, VST ECS Phils., Inc. has added Seagate's SkyHawk AI and IronWolf Pro hard drives to its storage portfolio as part of an expanded engagement with Seagate Technology, LLC. The companies marked the expansion with a ceremonial handshake on Oct. 20, 2026, the opening day of the VST ECS CXO Tech Summit 2026 at Shangri-La Boracay.

The new products complement the Exos enterprise drives that VST ECS already distributes in the Philippines. Joyce Lim, ASEAN Business Lead for the brand, appeared on stage with VST ECS executives Angela Go, Director and Vice President for Operations, Cherry Centeno, First Vice President and Group General Manager, Value Business, and Ana Aliamante, Sales and Marketing Manager, Network Technology Group 4.

SkyHawk AI drives are designed for AI video analytics systems and can support up to 64 HD cameras and 32 additional AI streams. IronWolf Pro drives target commercial and enterprise RAID storage solutions of up to 24 bays and workloads of up to 550TB a year.

Broader storage coverage for local channel partners

Both drive lines offer capacities of up to 32TB, operate 24/7, and come with a five-year limited warranty plus three years of Rescue Data Recovery Services. With SkyHawk AI, IronWolf Pro and Exos under one distributor, VST ECS says partners can address video analytics, enterprise NAS and server requirements through a single supply channel.

VST ECS President and CEO Jimmy Go said rising transaction volumes, camera feeds and shared files are driving data growth, while AI is intensifying storage needs further by requiring large data sets and generating more data during operation. He said the addition of SkyHawk and IronWolf alongside Exos allows the company to offer more complete storage options for video analytics, NAS and enterprise servers.

Seagate SkyHawk and IronWolf drives are available now through VST ECS and its authorized resellers nationwide.
