Canton Network token price hits record high despite crypto market selloff
Amid a sharp sell-off across the broader cryptocurrency market on January 31, the Canton Network token (CC) reached a new all-time high of $0.193, becoming the only top-100 cryptocurrency to post gains and significantly outperform the overall crypto market.
On Saturday, Canton Network surged nearly 12%, setting a new ATH before coming under pressure from the broader market downturn. Even so, at the time of writing CC was trading above $0.18, up more than 4% over the past 24 hours.

The rally in the real-world asset (RWA) tokenization network, which is designed with regulatory compliance in mind, has been fueled by multiple partnerships with major financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas.
A defensive token among risk assets
Sustained buying of CC amid a bearish market trend suggests that investors view Canton’s utility as a risk-weighted asset (RWA), as well as a defensive or growth hedge. This has created isolated demand that offsets broader capital outflows from the crypto market.
Following Saturday’s surge, CC traded well above its key moving averages before correcting to the 50-day moving average around $0.18, easing overbought conditions as the 14-day RSI cooled to below 68.
With bearish sentiment dominating the broader crypto market, traders are now watching whether CC can hold the $0.155–$0.160 support zone. Holding above this range is critical for maintaining the bullish trend, while a break below could trigger a deeper correction toward $0.13–$0.14.
