Fresh daily lows were accompanied by elevated volatility, while key oscillators reveal negative momentum: MACD indicates a Sell, RSI at 33.33 also points to a Sell, and BBP and AO reinforce continued selling dominance. Momentum exhaustion signals are present as both the Stoch RSI and CCI are now oversold, with ADX neutral, suggesting limited immediate upside counteraction.

Further declines expected as volatility persists without breakout

In the short term, S is expected to remain volatile within a $0.0245 to $0.0313 range. Continued downside movement is the most probable scenario, consistent with the prevailing negative bias. A move higher would require a sustained break above the $0.0309 resistance level, while a close below $0.0245 support could trigger additional declines. The typical volatility band for the next 2 to 3 days is likely to persist unless a clear breakout occurs.

Viktoras Karapetjanc, expert at Traders Union, sees Sonic (S) caught in a phase of pronounced selling pressure. He believes the asset’s technical setup points to limited immediate upside and suggests caution for bullish traders until a clear reversal emerges. In his opinion, volatility is likely to persist within the defined range, with downside risks outweighing recovery potential for now. "Sustained momentum below the major resistance at $0.0309 keeps the trend negative, but a decisive breakout could quickly shift the outlook," Karapetjanc states.

Earlier, analysts noted that Sonic was exhibiting building bullish momentum as buyers took temporary control, positioning the asset for a potential breakout if support held. However, the current deterioration in technicals now shifts focus to downside risks, making a close below $0.0245 a critical threshold for traders to monitor in the coming days.
