Securitize, a company specializing in asset tokenization infrastructure, has announced its upcoming listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Trading in its shares is expected to begin on July 2 after approval of the merger with Cantor Equity Partners II (CEPT).
In a post on X, the company said that Cantor shareholders had approved the business combination with Securitize. The transaction is expected to close on Wednesday.
After the deal is completed, the combined company will operate as Securitize Corp. Its common stock is expected to begin trading on the NYSE on July 2, 2026, under the ticker SECZ.
Last week, Securitize said it would raise about $400 million through the merger. Less than 30% of CEPT holders chose to redeem their shares, meaning the company will retain more than 71% of the SPAC trust. The amount also includes previously announced PIPE financing, including an oversubscribed $225 million private investment.
“Today, tokenization is moving into the mainstream, and we believe becoming a public company gives us the visibility, credibility, and capital to lead that next phase of growth,” said Securitize co-founder and CEO Carlos Domingo.
Securitize is considered one of the world’s largest tokenization infrastructure providers. The company manages BlackRock’s tokenized money market fund BUIDL, whose total value locked has exceeded $3 billion. Securitize also works with Apollo, KKR, Hamilton Lane, and VanEck.
Earlier this month, Benchmark Equity Research reaffirmed its “Buy” rating on Securitize stock with a $16 price target. Analysts noted that the company’s regulatory licenses in the U.S. and Europe are one of its key advantages.
Asset tokenization companies help convert traditional financial instruments into digital form. These can include money market funds, bonds, stocks, private equity, real estate, and other real-world assets. Such companies create infrastructure that makes it possible to issue tokens confirming investors’ rights to a share in an asset or income from it, while also supporting custody, record-keeping, and transactions on the blockchain.
In practice, they serve as a bridge between traditional finance and the crypto market. For banks, investment funds, and asset managers, tokenization can make it easier to raise capital, broaden investor access to assets, and reduce operating costs. For investors, these solutions can simplify the buying and selling of complex financial products, make them more accessible, and improve transaction transparency.
As a reminder, Securitize reported record revenue in the first quarter.
