ADA tests $0.175 as 50-day SMA supports rebound setup
Cardano continues to weaken after losing support at $0.181 and is now testing the 50-day SMA near $0.172 following 10 consecutive days of declines. At the same time, subdued activity across the ecosystem has yet to provide ADA with a fundamental catalyst of its own.
According to DeFiLlama, Cardano’s TVL stands at roughly $65.3 million, little changed over the past 24 hours. Stablecoin market capitalization is around $67.5 million, down 0.8% over the past seven days.
Trading activity has weakened more noticeably. Daily DEX volume is roughly $596,000, while seven-day volume has fallen about 63% to $6.6 million. Perpetual futures volume over the same period also declined by roughly 14% to $16.9 million.
For now, these figures do not point to a meaningful increase in demand within the ecosystem, leaving broader market conditions as the main source of short-term momentum for ADA.

50-day SMA becomes the key level for a local rebound
The previously outlined base case of a rebound from $0.181 did not materialize, and the price has fallen toward the next target near $0.172, where the 50-day SMA is located.
If buyers can defend this area, the next target range would be $0.184–0.188. This remains the base-case scenario for the coming days.
The length of the decline provides an additional argument in favor of a local rebound. ADA has fallen for 10 consecutive days and is now testing an important moving average.
After such an extended losing streak, selling pressure could begin to ease, particularly if buyers show a clear reaction near $0.172.
Broader crypto weakness remains the main risk
Cardano’s next move will depend heavily on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and broader crypto-market sentiment. If BTC and ETH continue to decline, ADA will likely come under additional pressure as well.
Current on-chain metrics do not yet provide Cardano with a strong enough independent catalyst to move sustainably against the broader market. In this respect, ADA remains similar to most altcoins: without a strong internal driver, the direction of Bitcoin and Ethereum will continue to play a key role.
