Securitize launches tokenized bond fund with Neuberger Berman for multi-chain investors
Tokenized bond fund launch

Securitize is expanding its tokenized fixed-income offering with a new high-yield bond fund developed with Neuberger Berman. The launch gives eligible investors access to the strategy across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui, while adding Neuberger’s fixed-income platform to the onchain market.

Highlights

  • Securitize and Neuberger Berman launched HINC, a tokenized high-yield bond fund, offering onchain fixed-income access to accredited investors across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Sui.
  • Securitize became the first company to list its stock on both the New York Stock Exchange and onchain when it went public on July 2.
  • Securitize reported $19.5 million in first-quarter revenue, up nearly 40% year over year, and manages $3.4 billion in tokenized assets.

Fund launch broadens onchain fixed-income access

According to The Block, Securitize said in a release that it has launched HINC, a tokenized high-yield bond fund with Neuberger Berman, marking the asset manager’s first role as subadvisor to a tokenized fund. The strategy targets attractive risk-adjusted returns by investing mainly in high-yield bonds and other income-producing fixed-income assets.

Neuberger Berman, which manages a $230 billion fixed-income platform, provides portfolio management and research support for the fund as subadvisor. Securitize Capital LLC serves as HINC’s investment adviser, and the product is available to eligible accredited investors and qualified purchasers through Securitize, subject to onboarding, KYC/AML checks, jurisdictional eligibility and securities-law requirements.

Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo said the fund brings Neuberger’s fixed-income capabilities to public blockchains. Neuberger Berman Head of Product Management Anil Abraham said the partnership extends the firm’s actively managed fixed-income approach to qualified investors seeking onchain access.

Regulatory push and platform expansion support rollout

The launch comes as Securitize pushes further into tokenized investment strategies and expands the distribution of traditional assets on blockchain networks. HINC is being offered across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui, giving the firm exposure across four major public chains.

Last month, Securitize gained registered investment advisor status with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, a step that allows it to work more closely with asset managers and institutional investors through its subsidiary Securitize Capital LLC. The company also says it became the first firm to list its stock simultaneously on the New York Stock Exchange and onchain when it went public on July 2.

Securitize has also reported record first-quarter revenue of $19.5 million, up nearly 40% year over year, alongside $3.4 billion in tokenized assets under management. The new fund adds to a broader effort to bring traditional fixed-income strategies onchain as tokenized asset managers seek deeper institutional participation.

In our earlier article on the jump in long-dated U.S. Treasury yields, we outlined how inflation concerns and geopolitical tensions helped drive borrowing costs to multi-decade highs and weighed on rate-sensitive equities, especially technology shares. We also noted the move was global in scope, with long-term yields in Europe and Japan climbing as investors reassessed debt supply, deficits and the interest-rate outlook.
