Stellar price prediction: Will key resistance cap the rally?
XLM clears key moving averages but faces major resistance.

Stellar has accelerated higher and moved back above its key moving averages. After the sharp recovery, however, the $0.195–0.198 area now becomes the first major test for buyers.

The main driver for XLM remains the broader improvement in crypto-market sentiment. Bitcoin climbed above $76,000 following a large-scale wave of short liquidations, with roughly $3 billion in short positions forced to close. The sharp reduction in bearish positioning boosted demand not only for Bitcoin and Ethereum but also for major altcoins, including Stellar.

The regulatory backdrop is also becoming less uncertain. CFTC Chair Michael Selig said that crypto market structure rules would be established even if Congress failed to complete the relevant legislation. In other words, further development of the regulatory framework for digital assets no longer depends entirely on the fate of the CLARITY Act, as some changes could be implemented directly by regulators.

Key resistance at $0.195–0.198 defines the next move

After breaking above the short-term descending trend line, XLM moved decisively above both the 50-day and 200-day SMAs, significantly improving its short-term technical structure.

The $0.195–0.198 area becomes the key resistance zone for the coming days. If buyers can break above this range and hold there, upside momentum could accelerate toward $0.215.

If the breakout fails, however, the probability of profit-taking will increase after the sharp advance. The first important support is around $0.18, followed by the 50-day SMA near $0.177.

The market’s reaction to $0.195–0.198 will therefore define the next short-term scenario.

XLM still depends on broader crypto demand

XLM’s current recovery still reflects the broader shift in crypto-market sentiment more than the emergence of a Stellar-specific fundamental catalyst. After a prolonged period of low volatility, the market received a powerful boost from liquidations, improving liquidity and a more favorable regulatory backdrop.

The impact of forced short covering will gradually fade, however. The next stage of the rally will depend on whether genuine demand can replace the momentum created by liquidations.
