But we saved everything 🙂.

The main incidents of the month were the $388 million Bitget hack and the $320 million attack on Liquid Network. More than $270 million of the stolen funds were later returned.
Other notable attacks included hacks of Safe Wallet, DCENT, and Duelbits, which lost $7.8 million, $6 million, and $5.9 million, respectively.
According to CertiK’s security dashboard, the crypto industry has recorded 656 incidents since the beginning of 2026, with total losses reaching $2.68 billion.
In recent years, North Korean hacking groups have caused some of the largest losses in the crypto industry. According to analytics firms and U.S. authorities, these groups regularly target exchanges, wallets, and other crypto services, while stolen funds are later laundered through complex chains of transfers and swaps.
The Lazarus Group, which has been linked to the North Korean government, has drawn particular attention. North Korean hackers have been blamed for some of the largest thefts in crypto history. Such attacks hurt the industry in two ways: companies lose hundreds of millions of dollars, while regulators tighten security and transaction monitoring requirements.
Previously, Bitget resumed withdrawals after the $388 million hack.
