Liquidity and reach expand as USDY bridges across blockchains

Ondo Finance has enabled its USDY token, which is backed by short-term US Treasuries, to be bridged across multiple blockchains using LayerZero's infrastructure, according to Altcoinbuzz. This development expands the interoperability and accessibility of Ondo's real-world asset tokens, potentially increasing liquidity and broadening the asset's user base. However, while this technical enhancement improves market infrastructure, price action has remained under broader selling pressure.

Immediate resistance and seller dominance as downside momentum builds

Technical analysis shows ONDO/USD trading beneath the MA-20 at $0.4461 and the MA-50 at $0.4523 on the H1 chart, with the MA-200 at $0.3658 serving as a longer-term support level. The Ichimoku Kijun sits at $0.4513, acting as immediate resistance. Indicators reinforce a bearish short-term bias, as the RSI registers at 26.568, Stochastic RSI is in the oversold zone, and CCI points lower. Both MACD and ADX favor further selling, while Bull/Bear Power signals clear seller dominance. The Awesome Oscillator remains neutral and does not signal a reversal.

Downside risk elevated as consolidation limits bullish potential

Over the next 2–3 trading days, ONDO/USD is likely to fluctuate within a volatility band of $0.4155 to $0.4561. The probability of an upward move is currently very low, and the chance of further decline is high. The baseline forecast anticipates sideways consolidation within this range, with a bullish breakout requiring a sustained move above the Ichimoku Kijun resistance. Failure to hold support at $0.4155 would open the door to additional downside risk.

Viktoras Karapetjanc, analyst at Traders Union, sees strong fundamental progress for Ondo through the successful cross-chain enablement of its USDY token. He believes this move will help drive future adoption and liquidity, even as current sentiment and technicals remain bearish. The expert anticipates a medium-term opportunity if broader market pressure eases and the asset sustains its recent innovations. "Ondo’s expanding real-world asset reach positions it well for a rebound once market sentiment improves," Karapetjanc says.

Earlier, analysts noted that Ondo's technical setup had shifted toward sustained downside risk, with further declines possible if key support levels failed to hold. The latest analysis confirms this bearish momentum amid new interoperability advancements, highlighting that the critical level to watch is support at $0.4155, as a break below it could intensify ONDO's downside trajectory in the days ahead.
