Full-year performance and expansion plans

As reported by London Stock Exchange, citing the London Stock Exchange Regulatory News Service, CVS Group says revenue rises 5.9% to £712.8 million in the year ended 30 June 2026, while like-for-like sales increase 2.1% despite what it describes as a sustained softer UK economic backdrop.

Adjusted EBITDA increases to £141.5 million from £134.6 million, with the margin stable at 19.9%. Adjusted earnings per share rise 6.9% to 85.6 pence from 80.1 pence, while profit before tax stands at £32.0 million after a higher depreciation and amortisation charge.

CVS also says Australian revenue reaches £79.1 million, helped by acquisitions, and now accounts for about 11% of group revenue across 57 practice sites. The board adds that the new financial year is off to a solid start and says it has a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities in both Australia and the UK.

Dividend policy and market outlook

The board is maintaining its progressive dividend policy and recommends a final dividend of 9.0 pence per ordinary share, representing an estimated £6.1 million. That stance signals continued confidence in cash generation as the group balances shareholder returns with investment in expansion.

Chief Executive Officer Richard Fairman says the company delivers another year of solid growth across its three divisions and that the Australian business continues to perform well. CVS says it expects to perform in line with market expectations for FY27, underpinned by continuing demand for veterinary care in its two main markets.
