Pavel Durov clarifies Telegram bond independence from Russian capital

Pavel Durov recently issued a statement addressing concerns about Telegram's financial involvement with Russian investors.

He emphasized that Telegram's recent $1.7B bond offering did not include any Russian capital. Durov also clarified that bonds issued in 2021 have been largely repaid, minimizing any associated risks.

Importantly, Durov highlighted that bondholders do not equate to shareholders, reaffirming his position as the sole shareholder of the company.
