Ordering ensures consensus in blockchains, Meltem Demirors notes
Meltem Demirors argues that Miner Extractable Value (MEV) is fundamental to the functioning of blockchains, stressing the importance of transaction ordering within blockspace.
Demirors states that without orderly processing of transactions, consensus—and by extension, the core principle of blockchain networks—would be impossible. According to Demirors, agreement on transaction order is a basic requirement of shared blockchain states.
