Iranian people should take bitcoin keys from IRGC, Pierre Rochard notes
Pierre Rochard, CEO at The Bitcoin Bond Company, calls on the Iranian people to seize the IRGC’s bitcoin private keys in a recent statement.
He refers to this action as a form of "Robin Hood restitution," suggesting it would redistribute value from an entity he associates with injustice.
Rochard has previously argued that European regulators take a deeply skeptical stance toward Bitcoin and seek stricter controls. In a separate proposal, he suggested the U.S. government operate a bitcoin privacy mixer to balance user privacy with anti-crime measures. The CEO remains vocal about government roles and oversight in global bitcoin activity.
