David Schwartz: Airdrop and giveaway scams target XRPL users
David Schwartz, chief technology officer at Ripple Labs (XRP), is warning XRPL users about a significant increase in airdrop and giveaway scams. He cautions that most posts promoting such opportunities are likely scams and urges users to be vigilant.
Schwartz also notes that anyone claiming to be him on platforms like Instagram or Telegram is probably a scammer and advises the XRP community to remain cautious.
Schwartz has recently participated in Ripple Labs initiatives such as adding liquidity to the XRP/FUZZY AMM by depositing both tokens for potential volatility profits. He also previously added a trust line for the FUZZY token, clarifying that this did not constitute an endorsement. These activities come as the XRP community faces rising concerns over scam activity.
