43% of CEOs prioritizing senior hires over junior roles, Turner Novak notes
CEOs focus on senior roles, junior hiring falls

Turner Novak reports that 43% of CEOs plan to adjust their workforce by increasing the proportion of mid-level or senior positions in the next one to two years. Only 17% of CEOs expect to expand junior roles, a decrease from 36% last year.

Novak also highlights that IBM is tripling its entry-level hiring in the U.S. despite the broader trend among companies.

Novak has recently examined Anthropic’s approach to developing AI and analyzed layers of AI business models. He has also reported on how Neo identified outlier talent and achieved success with early investments in firms such as Cursor and Kalshi, resulting in multiple 10x venture funds. Both topics reflect ongoing areas of interest in Novak’s coverage.
