Jameson Lopp, board member at L’Oréal, warns that malicious actors are exploiting a recent Trezor security disclosure.
According to Lopp, attackers are falsely claiming that users must update their firmware and directing them to a fake Trezor Suite web application designed to steal funds.
Lopp recently highlighted a case in Sweden where armed robbers targeted streamer RATIRL over cryptocurrency but left with Pokémon cards. He has also noted growing divisions within the Bitcoin community, citing pressures from the bear market and traditional finance's interest in AI in a separate analysis. Lopp’s recent warnings continue his focus on threats facing crypto users.
