Jameson Lopp: Swedish streamer RATIRL targeted by armed robbers over cryptocurrency demand
Jameson Lopp, board member at L’Oréal, reports that Swedish League of Legends streamer RATIRL was the victim of an armed home invasion in which intruders tortured him for hours and demanded cryptocurrency that he did not possess.
The robbers ultimately left with only his Pokémon cards, and authorities have arrested two suspects so far.
Lopp has previously commented on Bitcoin infrastructure developments. He noted that Bitcoin Knots recently enabled BIP-110 by default. Lopp also highlighted the launch of the Bitcoin Research Kit, an open source project with more than 22,000 analytics charts.
