HazelNetwork bridges banking and tokenization

Caitlin Long, founder and CEO at Custodia Bank, announces the release of a new whitepaper from Vantage Bank and Custodia Bank. The document details HazelNetwork, an infrastructure platform that connects banking with tokenized systems such as stablecoins, tokenized stocks, and agentic payments.

According to Long, HazelNetwork is already live and currently undergoing scale testing.

Long has previously cautioned that large banks may struggle to launch tokenized deposit networks by 2027 due to vendor uncertainty. In an earlier note, she also warned that patent protections around tokenization are often overlooked in the industry. These issues remain key considerations as new infrastructure like HazelNetwork comes to market.
