Appeal says no SEC records for Blue Owl

Edwin Dorsey, publisher / author at The Bear Cave, reports that although Blue Owl Capital (OWL) previously appeared on the SEC's April 2026 B7A list and was suspected to be under investigation, a June 11, 2026 appeal letter indicates there are "no responsive records" concerning Blue Owl Capital and the use of Exemption 7(A).

Dorsey previously noted a drop in SEC enforcement actions based on May 2026 FOIA logs. Several companies were listed under investigation at that time. The current disclosure regarding Blue Owl Capital follows these earlier regulatory trends.
