Layah Heilpern: Shorting market on BTCC exchange has been profitable
Shorting market proves profitable on BTCC

Layah Heilpern, owner and host of The Layah Heilpern Show, reports ongoing success from shorting the market for several months.

Heilpern notes that many of these trades take place on BTCC exchange, where she highlights the availability of rewards and bonuses for users.

Heilpern recently reported that Mt. Gox deposited $8.16 million in Bitcoin to Bitstamp, a move she said could indicate pressure on the crypto market here. She has also described her decision to stay largely on the sidelines after selling most of her crypto holdings in October 2025 here. These moves set the backdrop for her current short-focused trading approach.
