Tokenomics model grows with protocol adoption, Andre Cronje states
Tokenomics aligns with protocol scaling

Andre Cronje, chief technology officer at Sonic Labs (formerly known as Fantom), points out that while some tokenomics models may appear unexciting initially, the discussed approach scales with protocol growth rather than hindering it.

Cronje suggests this could be a differentiating factor for sustainable token-based ecosystems.

Earlier, Cronje pointed to Sonic’s equity account based lending, noting that the protocol’s first major drawdown resulted in just $50,000 liquidated. He also highlighted potential yields of up to 18.50 percent on USDC or USSD via ftUSD for users. Borrow rates for BTC and ETH on the platform have stayed below 1 percent.
