Andre Cronje: Stablecoin yields rise and caps to increase on Ethereum and Sonic
Stablecoin yields increase as caps grow

Andre Cronje, founder of Flying Tulip, creator of Yearn Finance and Keep3r Network, reports rising stablecoin yields and growing activity on both Ethereum and Sonic.

Cronje highlighted that ftUSD and margin total value locked have increased, with 13.94% USDC/USDT yield on Ethereum and 7.08% USDC/USSD yield on Sonic. He added that stablecoins remain stable and secondary markets are functioning well, with plans to increase caps again as scaling continues.

Cronje previously highlighted ways users can earn up to 18.50 percent on USDC or USSD via ftUSD on Ethereum and Sonic. In an earlier event, he reported that FT’s first major drawdown led to only $50,000 in liquidations due to equity account based lending. These developments reflect ongoing adjustments in Sonic Labs’ stablecoin and lending operations.
