He argues that the main consideration is not just wipeout risk, but whether BIP110 could stall during mandatory signalling or result in a minority fork lacking exchange support due to the absence of replay protection.

Livera has previously commented on technical implementations related to Bitcoin. He reported on the launch of Bark on the Bitcoin mainnet with Steven Roose, noting comparisons with Lightning and Ark. Livera also observed continued growth in Lightning Network volumes despite a 50% decline from peak levels.
