Michael Geike, co-founder & CEO at Advanced Blockchain AG, highlights that Ethereum's next multi-year roadmap will focus on significant changes to the protocol.

He points to scalability through a leaner Layer 1 execution and advancement in privacy primitives, drawing comparisons to Ethereum's prior major upgrade known as The Merge. The proposed efforts are expected to unfold over a three- to four-year timeline.

Geike has previously commented on market activity tied to the Ethereum ecosystem. He reported an executive departure at the Ethereum Foundation as Strategy’s STRC token traded below par for the first time.
