Michael Geike: 191 million AI agent payments settled over x402 without cards
AI settles 191 million payments, no cards

AI agents have settled 191 million payments via x402, a stablecoin rail, with none of the transactions processed through a card as of October 11.

Michael Geike, who is co-founder and CEO of Advanced Blockchain AG, added that approximately a quarter of these transactions may be test traffic and emphasized that the direction is what matters.

Geike has previously commented on AI agents adding privacy features, with attention to private payments, as seen when Vitalik updated his solution to address privacy in payments by AI. Separately, index provider MSCI recently announced it will remove companies lacking an operating business from its global indexes. Both developments reflect ongoing adjustments to infrastructure and market standards.
