MSCI to drop asset-holding firms

MSCI has ruled that companies with no operating business, built solely to hold assets, will no longer qualify for inclusion in its Global Investable Market Indexes. The final list of excluded companies will be released November 11 and the changes will become effective after the November 30 close.

Michael Geike, co-founder and CEO of Advanced Blockchain AG, shared these developments.

Geike has previously commented on the rollout of privacy features in an AI agent built by Vitalik, with specific focus on private payments integration, according to a prior report. He has also reacted to the IMF's recent World Economic Outlook, describing its summary table as a baseline for tracking economic cycles, as reported in an earlier article. Both topics highlight his engagement with technology and macroeconomic developments.
