Andreas Steno Larsen, founder & CEO, reports that oil prices spiked minutes after U.S. military strikes against Iran were launched.
West Texas Intermediate crude rose 2.9 percent to $72.46 per barrel and Brent gained 2.8 percent to $76.20 per barrel shortly after the U.S. action.
Larsen has previously highlighted major movements in technology and equities. He pointed out that SpaceX reached a $135 billion valuation, sending Elon Musk's net worth near $1 trillion. In another report, Larsen noted that AI stocks drove S&P 500 gains while more than 400 stocks in the index posted losses.
