Kristina Partsinevelos confirmed that SK Hynix has set its U.S. listing price at $149 per American Depositary Receipt (ADR).
According to a spokesperson, converting ADRs to Korean shares can be executed freely, while converting back requires a separate reporting procedure. Partsinevelos notes this friction has helped maintain Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company's ADR premium for years.
Partsinevelos previously reported that SK Hynix reduced its Nasdaq listing goal to about $28 billion, marking the second largest share sale on record at the time. In earlier coverage, she noted Micron and Sandisk had reached historic overbought levels during a prior rally. Both developments highlighted shifts among major semiconductor firms.
