Investment returns are hypothetical and risks remain, Vlad Tenev warns
Investing always carries financial risk

Vlad Tenev, co-founder & CEO at Robinhood, cautions that all investing carries risk, including the potential loss of principal.

He references a hypothetical example featuring bi-weekly contributions of $50 over a 13-year period with a 7% annual return, emphasizing that such scenarios are illustrative and not guarantees.

Tenev has previously highlighted Robinhood’s development of a dedicated blockchain for real-world asset use cases and meme-related activity, according to an earlier statement. He has also reported that more than 50,000 children funded Robinhood custodial accounts within three months of their launch, as noted in a separate update. His recent comments follow ongoing efforts to expand Robinhood’s reach across user segments and new products.
