Quantum innovation could drive bitcoin bull market, Charlie Shrem argues

Charlie Shrem, founder at CryptoIQ, claims that quantum technology presents an opportunity for bitcoin and could trigger the next bull market.

He adds that those describing the outlook as negative may have ulterior motives and are seeking to acquire bitcoin at lower prices.

Shrem previously recalled distributing hundreds of Casascius coins and digital bitcoins at industry conferences from 2011 to 2012, according to historical accounts. He has also discussed the bitcoin community’s role in advancing the SegWit upgrade through BIP148 and a user-activated soft fork in 2017, as noted in prior commentary. These remarks reflect Shrem’s longstanding involvement in key moments of bitcoin’s development.
