Andre Cronje: Onchain finance should offer complete transparency at the smallest unit
Onchain finance should be fully transparent

Andre Cronje, chief technology officer at Sonic Labs (formerly known as Fantom), emphasized that onchain finance should provide full visibility of financial operations down to the wei, the smallest unit of Ethereum.

Cronje highlighted the importance of transparency and pointed to several dashboards as examples of how onchain data can be made fully accessible.

Cronje previously reported that USDC and USDT yields on Ethereum reached about 14.71% with certain strategy scaling, while USDC and USDD on Sonic generated 7% returns, according to data he shared earlier this year. He has also noted that USDC and USDT could earn 13.74% APY on Ethereum through ftUSD, citing available capacity for new deposits in a separate update. These reports highlight Cronje's ongoing tracking of stablecoin yields across networks.
