But we saved everything 🙂.
Andre Cronje, chief technology officer at Sonic Labs (formerly known as Fantom), stated that deposits of USDC and USDT on the referenced DeFi platform have reached the current cap of $5 million, with sustained annual percentage yields above 10 percent for over a month.
Cronje added that the cap is set to rise to $100 million. The yield remains fully onchain, liquid, and comes with no lockups or offchain dependencies.
Cronje previously reported that USDC and USDT on Ethereum delivered about 14.71% yields amid strategy scaling efforts, while yields on Sonic reached 7% during the same period, according to recent disclosures. He also noted that USDC and USDT could earn 13.74% APY on Ethereum via ftUSD, citing additional deposit capacity at that time in a separate update. These figures provide context for the current yield environment on the Sonic platform.
