At least 15 attackers exploit Coldcard vulnerability, Alex Thorn reveals — Multiple exploiters target Coldcard vulnerability

Alex Thorn reports that a growing number of distinct attackers are exploiting a vulnerability in the Coldcard hardware wallet.

According to Thorn, there are now at least 15 separate attackers identified, as victim reports continue to come in and provide authorities with information. These reports are also helping in tracking new attacks and labeling the attackers involved.

Thorn previously flagged an ongoing attack targeting BTC addresses generated by Coldcard wallets, urging holders to secure their funds in an earlier report on the security warning. He also discussed the latest developments in the Coldcard wallet hack investigation during a live appearance covering Coldcard and AI topics. An update from Coldcard was anticipated at that time.
