Apple bid for CXMT memory rejected

Steven Lubka reports that Apple approached Chinese memory chip manufacturer CXMT in an attempt to secure lower memory prices.

According to Lubka, CXMT rejected Apple's bid and countered with prices equal to or higher than those offered by major memory manufacturers.

Lubka previously reported that Citadel’s acquisition of Leopolds book led to renewed bullish sentiment and increased bidding activity in markets. He also covered how PCE inflation fell to an annualized rate below the U.S. Federal Reserve’s target. Both developments were noted for their impact on recent market conditions.
